What are the benefits of ERW, other than carbon removal?

One of the great things about enhanced rock weathering is that environmental benefits other than carbon removal are built into the technology. Our holistic approach to carbon removal takes into account other climate issues, such as soil health, and aims to support impacted communities both locally and globally.

When crushed rock weathers, it adds a host of micro and macro nutrients into the soil; nutrients such as phosphorus, magnesium and potassium which play a crucial role in increasing soil health and fertility. Improving soil health in turn boosts crop yields and resilience, contributing to food security and safeguarding the livelihoods of agricultural communities.

Our partnership model is focussed on keeping green jobs in rural communities and protecting local economies. This builds resilience in the face of climate change and underlines the value of sustainable business for both people and the planet.
